Stepping into the FMS outdoor classroom is like breathing a breath of fresh air for our primary students. Anchored by the greenhouse on one end, and a swath of grass and trees on the other end, students are immersed in the teachings of nature. Birds, insects, and flowers take the lead on showing our students the movement and beauty of the natural world. Art and science line the shelves, calling to the children to paint on the easel, splash gently in the water tables, use the walkie-talkies and to observe a worm close up through a magnifying glass. A space filled with sunshine, smiles and easy moments, this is a treasured FMS classroom.
