Favorite FMS Memories

Many people call high school “the time of their lives” but FMS was that for me. I treasure the years I spent there. I loved the sense of community and that there was always something new being presented to my growing little mind. FMS became a second home for me and I enjoyed it all: the field trips, the practical life work in kindergarten and being able to perform in school plays. Now that my cousin is a third grader at FMS I get to return occasionally to pick her up and every time I step back onto the school grounds I’m filled with nostalgia. Because FMS was my home, it molded me into who I am today and I wouldn’t trade that for the world.

Future Plans

I am very interested in fine arts and the performing arts. I don’t know yet what career path I will end up going down but thanks to FMS I’m very confident I can succeed in my future ventures.

Favorite Thing About Montessori

One of the things I loved about FMS was that it was very hands-on and intimate. I don’t ever remember a time when I didn’t want to go to school. I was always excited to see what was in store for me that day. Montessori education not only gave me the tools I needed to succeed later in life but also made me a kinder and more aware person. I learned how to work together with others and developed so many life skills I don’t think I would have gained from a public school education.
